Picture Perfect 📸

The sky, blue as a saphire sparkling in the sunlight. The trees, green and fresh in the mid-summer season. Nature's peace flowing into you as sunshine flows into flowers. A sense of unsatisfaction was all I could feel as I was about to walk away without capturing this breathtaking scenery. Yet still, pictures could never do it justice. 

The grenery high and low. The colours of the building, the flowers, the sky and the ground, all complimenting each other perfectly. Walking through the beautiful arch like structures would make anyone feel like royalty. 

A day inside isn't all bad, when you have someone to enjoy with. Whether you talk to eachother, bake something, channel your inner artist, or even sit in silence, as long as you do it with a loved one, anything and everything can be meaningful.

 During a discussion, we realized that our cast had so many last minute changes that we completely forgot to post a blog for them. In he end we had to work with what we had, remove people in some scenes due to availability, and even cramp up some of the filming in a couple of hours. Back to Square 1 😭

 We showed our teacher the completed film, and he informed us that it wouldn't get a grade higher than a C. After all the work we put in to get to this point, hearing this almost completely crushed us. We asked if there was anyway to improve it, and he advised us to reshoot it. This wasn't an option for us, because we only have until Friday, and our cast members cant come over anymore due to the CIES approaching. We went back to the drawing board because no matter how stressed we were, we weren't going to let our efforts go to waste. We went through several different storylines, and came up with some good ones, however none of them could get completed before the due date. We settled on one idea, and will try to get people to act in it.

Introduction ♡

Hello. I'm Mishel Ali and I attend Islamabad College of Arts and Sciences (ICAS) as a media student. I took Media Studies as I knew it would help me in my daily life. I've also always been c aptivated by the subject but haven't yet had the opportunity to pursue it so I thought this was the best scenario. Though I was part of our school media team for a year, I couldn't do much due to my lack of experience, as well as knowledge on  how to do it well. I'm excited to learn about the various aspects of videography such as, using a green screen, editing, camera angles, etc.
