This is the text size, font, position i used to the subtitles throughout the film.

This is the overall timeline and cropping sequence to achieve the cinematic aspect ratio of our film. I used basic cuts and a few fade in and out transitions in between some of the clips. These are all the settings i used for the crop

Our finalized locations were 1. School 2. My house 3. A road with good lighting

  I have made our final moldboard. It is slightly rushed due to our pre mocks coming near, and the fact that we still have to re shoot the film, however, it helps convey our idea perfectly.

 

 As our final cast we used Rizvi again, however, due to availability issues we had to let Humna go. We talked to our teacher, and he told us that our director could act. So now Mahira Ibrahim will be casted a the female for our film. Moreover, our color grader, and a friend of ours played the side characters. Mahira Ibrahim Aliza Azka Amir

 

 Our film User 5768 got rejected. Rather than making multiple posts for it we decided to sum it up in one post. We filmed some scenes in school, and the ending scenes were filmed right outside. I was part of one scene as her "friend" but was blurred out in the background. I edited it on cap cut. First i tried it on my laptop, but the software kept crashing.  We showed our teacher the completed film, and he informed us that it wouldn't get a grade higher than a C. After all the work we put in to get to this point, hearing this almost completely crushed us. We asked if there was anyway to improve it, and he advised us to reshoot it. This wasn't an option for us, because we only have until Friday, and our cast members cant come over anymore due to the CIES approaching. We went back to the drawing board because no matter how stressed we were, we weren't going to let our efforts go to waste. We went through several different storylines, and came up with some good ones, however none of them could get completed before the due date. We settled on one idea, and will try to get people to act in it. 

  I completed the editing, and saved the final draft of the film. However, today when I reached school and turned it on to show my teammates one last time before we show our teacher, we saw that the server had crashed. I asked Seemal, our camerawoman, to bring her SD so I could get the videos back. I'll download capcut, and try with that one last time.

 I have completed our film editing using cap cut. Now i must send it to Aliza, our sound editor, for the final touches. This includes all the dialogues, background music, etc. We have started working on the CCR, so hopefully we will be done with all of this by Monday, so we can show our teacher.

I've attempted to edit with Filmora, Canva, and Inshot. All three ended up failing, so now, once again, I will edit the film opening. This time I'm using cap cut. Though our teacher did not recommend it, its the only option i have left. An advantage to this is that I have used cap cut before, so it wont take any extra time to understand how the app works.

 As we have more free time on Friday, i started working on the 1st scene earlier, in school. This scene had by far the most clips, along with some dialogues. I completed the editing, and made sure all the clips were in order, including the fillers. The whole film looks a bit odd to me, but I feel like that's due to the sound. I will send it to my teammates, and see what they think of it. The films duration is 2minutes, 7 seconds, which fits the time limit appointed to us by our teacher. Once the final touches are made, i will send the entire film to our sound editor, so she can complete what's left.

Yesterday i received the remaining clips for our third scene so i began working on it. I edited, and sent it to the other members, and everyone liked how it turned out. Today we showed our teacher whatever was completed, and he told us he liked it. I Will try to finish the first scene tomorrow, and it is almost 12am, and then I'll make some final changes, so it can be sent to our sound editor, Aliza.

   Upon receiving the recorded clips for the third scene, along with the fillers, I began adding them with the second scene clips. I edited them according to how I know the scene is supposed to go, but I still have to check with the rest of the group, incase they have something else in mind.

   We have faced many hurdles, trying to complete the production, and pre production process, but we managed to get through them all. There has been a lack in updates due to 2 different deaths, causing us to put our filming on hold. We decided to skip one school day so we can start filming around 8am, allowing us to finish the remaining scenes within a day. This should be easy, as we only have 2 small scenes left, after which we may need to add fillers. Unfortunately, it cannot be done during this week due to the heavy workload to assignments and tests being piled onto us daily. Despite this, as we re watch the clips we realize that though the camera quality isn't as good as we expected, the film opening is turning out quite well.

   Despite not completing our film opening, I started working on the editing. The clips got sent to me, and i used my free class in school to start editing the second scene, which is the first scene we recorded. By the time we got to this scene, we already had previous practice shoots, (which were just failed shoots) giving us a good idea on how to position the camera, set our cast members, set the lighting, etc. Due to this, the amazing direction from Mahirah Ibrahim, and Seemal Rizwan's camera work, the editing wasn't as complicated as I thought it would be. I'm currently waiting on the clips for the first scene, so I can start editing them, even though they are not complete.

 During a discussion, we realized that our cast had so many last minute changes that we completely forgot to post a blog for them. In he end we had to work with what we had, remove people in some scenes due to availability, and even cramp up some of the filming in a couple of hours.
